Lynne Spears Called a "Hands on" Grandma, Very Supportive

Jamie Lynn reports how helpful and supportive her mom has been. "She has been here a bunch," Jamie states. Grandma Lynn has been giving Jamie "hands on" advice regarding motherhood. Most importantly of all, Grandma Lynne warns Jamie Lynn to just trust her instincts when it comes to mothering.

Jamie reports her mother as telling her the doctors may be strict with her telling her mostly what not to do. However, she (Jamie Lynn) is the mother and she is the one who knows what her baby needs. Despite Jamie Lynn's youth, she seems to be preparing to be a great example for other young mothers.

Grandma Lynne shares her views on being a grandparent, and the arrival of baby Maddie, Jamie's daughter. ""You never remember how little they are, and then you hold them. I purred like a kitten, and I remember saying, 'Jamie Lynn, she's so beautiful.'"

Grandma Lynne has been supportive of Britney Spears as well. In fact, she is one of the persons who helped Britney up from her breakdown (a.k.a. "meltdown"). Moreover, Grandma Lynne had participated in the fun while Brit's sons Sean Preston and Jayden James were visiting just recently during an overnight visit.
