Idol Runner-Up Clay Aiken Annouces Birth of Son

Runner-Up American Idol star announces the birth of his son Parker Foster Aiken. He says the name of his son does not have any hyphens in it, just "one first name, one middle name, one last name."


The mother is Jaymes Foster, Aiken's friend and producer. He says she is doing fine and the baby is healthy and happy and "as loud as his daddy."

This news threw some people for a loop.... Clay Aiken has confirmed that he will be a father sometime in August. Now, this was big news because 1 - many people thought Clay Aiken was gay. Second, he has never appeared in public with a woman or even a date. Third, the due date is only 6 months away - how was this kept a secret for so long!!

The baby mama is the daughter of his music producer or something. No other details about the relationship were made available.
