Britney Spears Expresses Her Initial Shock about Jamie Lynn's Pregnancy

Britney Spears recently expresses shock about her sister Jamie Lynn's pregnancy. Regarding the anticipation of baby maddie (Jamie's newborn daughter) she says:

"That was special, but it was also strange because she's always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling. I was shocked a little bit..."But it was really cool, and she was happy."

Word has it Jamie Lynn will soon bring Maddi to meet her cousins. Two of them live in Los Angeles.

Britney and Jamie Lynn Grow Up Fast

Brit and Jamie Lynn have been through quite a bit in the past eight months. Britney Spears was hospitalized and in danger of getting her children away and Jamie Lynn was removed from the cast of a Nickelodeon show after it was announced she was pregnant at 16.

Both of these girls had to grow up fast. It probably is a very good thing too because their children need them. It is nothing like a child to help people think twice about the way they are living, in my opinion. Perhaps most of all that affected these two girls was the arrival of baby Maddie, born to Jamie Lynn just recently.

Britney Spears Getting Back on Her Feet, Gets Kids Half Time

As of only about an hour from writing this post it was announced that Britney Spears is "reclaiming her role as mother." An agreement was just recently made between she and ex Kevin Federline.

She will be able to see her children again at least three times a week. She also will have the opportunity to have them over for two nights a week, with the possibility of more time with them.

Kevin still has overall custody of the ex-couple's children at this point, with that expected to change within the next year. Still, all in all Britney has been doing quite a bit better for well over a month now. She seems to be rising back up and returning to her "normal" self.
